Super-Moms in Quarantine

We all know it's not easy being a mom. You have to be on top of every little detail all the time so that everything with your children goes smoothly. As a society, you have been told to be responsible and patient all the time, but this doesn't always happen and that's okay. It is normal for moms to not always be in the best attitude and not always have everything under control.

The role that a mother plays in the family is huge and very important, not the least of which is the role of the father. It is important that, if you have a partner, this is the most cooperative so that in these times of crisis, being a mom is something fun and all a learning experience. This is a special and beautiful time for both parents to get close to their children and spend quality time together.

Parents don't always have the tools to homeschool or do endless recreational activities for their children, so they can start to suffer from stress or anxiety. This not only becomes bad for moms and dads, but also for children, as it can affect them a lot. So in these times of crisis moms are not the same as always: they are super moms.

It is understandable that as adults we get stressed thinking about money and the work we must do to support a family, but we must remember that the first and most important thing in life is love. Without love a family is not a family. Mothers have had so many challenges and all of a sudden, homeschooling, home office jobs, more work controlling homes and living together. But with love, and self-care everything can be achieved, time can be spent quickly and pleasant with the ones we love.

Speaking of self-care, mothers must take into account the self-care, that is, that the same love that day by day they distribute to their children, spouses and relatives, is the one that reinvest in themselves without fear or measure, because they must understand that the work they do is very important for everyone. As the philosopher Ernest Bersot said in poetry: "There are many wonders in the universe, but the masterpiece of creation is the maternal heart."

These women, creators of life, that since they begin to feel another being in her belly develop qualities such as patience, unconditional love and care to give everything to a new human being. And for a crisis these qualities are a great help, because they strengthen the ties that bind any family together.
